Heavy vehicles drive continuously through the Hitachi factory, causing the painted crosswalks and crossings in particular to wear quickly and become poorly visible.
Marking the crossings with LED projection solved this problem. The result: crosswalks that remain clearly visible for years, without maintenance or periodic reapplication of floor markings.
